Hollywood Winds key clamps are designed to lightly hold the pad against the tone hole that helps dry the pad to the shape of the tone hole and keeps the pad seated. Key clamps also help prevent damage to the pads and keys when the instrument is being transported. The Hollywood Winds key clamps are designed with a lighter wire to help prevent the possibility of over tightening the clamps. This lighter wire also makes it easier to adjust the clamps after replacing a pad.
