Return Policy

By entering an order through SAX-CCESSORIES, it is understood that the Buyer has read and agrees to the terms and conditions noted on this page.

SAX-CCESSORIES does everything possible to ensure that all items sold to its customers are both NEW and NEVER USED. We understand that no Buyer wants to purchase a new saxophone or mouthpiece that has been used by someone else. At the same time, we understand that if a customer purchases a saxophone or mouthpiece and it does not work out after short trial period, then yes, SAX-CCESSORIES will accept a return.

The trial period is three days from the date of receipt. If the item is to be returned, the Buyer must notify SAX-CCESSORIES within the three day trial period and then has seven days, from that time, to return the item back to SAX-CCESSORIES. If you need to make a return, e-mail us at orders@sax-ccessories.com within the trial period to obtain a Return Authorization Number. After receiving the Return Authorization Number, the item must be sent fully insured and it must be received back in PRISTINE condition in its original packaging. SAX-CCESSORIES is not responsible for the return shipping cost and cannot refund shipping charges. Any damage to uninsured packages is the responsibility of the sender. For your protection, also be sure to retain the tracking number.

    Returns should be sent to:

    SAX-CCESSORIES LLC
    Attn: Brian Stevenson
    44 Knollview Court
    Wood Ranch, CA 93065

We encourage customers to be extremely careful with the items during their trial period. SAX-CCESSORIES takes very detailed photos of each saxophone before it is shipped. If a sax is received back with even the smallest of scratches, dings, dents, or blemishes will not be accepted and will be returned to the Buyer at the Buyer's expense.

For each mouthpiece returned, there will be a 15% return fee. The fee for a returned MACSAX or Warburton saxophone is $250. SAX-CCESSORIES cannot sell returned items as new. These fees only help reduce the losses incurred in accepting returns.

    What can be returned?
New mouthpieces -and- MACSAX, P.Mauriat, T. K. Melody, Viking, and Warburton saxophones can be returned. Sales on all other items, including special order Borgani and Aizen saxophones, are final.

Does sax-ccessories keep track of frequent returns?
Yes, SAX-CCESSORIES keeps track of returns and reserves the right to cancel or deny orders from customers on that endless pursuit of the Holy Grail ... players (of all/any talent levels) that constantly buy, play test, and return mouthpiece after mouthpiece in hopes of finding what only time in the woodshed is going to produce.

What if I need my local technician to setup my new saxophone?
SAX-CCESSORIES and/or MACSAX/Warburton inspects, sets up, and play tests every new saxophone prior to shipment to ensure the saxophone plays as it should. As with any saxophone purchase, players are encouraged to visit their local technician to have the new saxophone setup, adjusted, and regulated to their specific needs and interests. SAX-CCESSORIES is not responsible for the costs to make these player specific adjustments.

Is there a new saxophone warranty?
The SAX-CCESSOIRES warranty covers defects in workmanship, materials, and manufacturing for two years from date of purchase. This is limited to the original owner and proof of purchase must be provided. SAX-CCESSORIES, at its discretion, will find the best possible solution for the problem and remedy the situation. Any saxophones altered or have had the serial numbers removed are not eligible for warranty. SAX-CCESSORIES disclaims and excludes liability for any incidental or consequential damages. Warranty does not cover damage resulting from abuse, negligence, accidents, or lack of reasonable maintenance. Warranty does not cover loss of theft of saxophone. Warranty does not cover pads, normal upkeep, or regulation. SAX-CCESSORIES does not warrant against deterioration from perspiration, high humidity, extreme temperatures, oxidation or tarnish of finishes, or other external causes. SAX-CCESSORIES disclaims and excludes liability for damage done to finish or plating by excess polishing or pressure or use of a polishing cloth which takes the plating off. Use a soft cloth, free of chemicals for all finishes. Wipe finger prints often and dry moisture off inside and outside the horn as often as possible. Keep your instrument dry and in its case. Any and all warranty issues are to be reported to SAX-CCESSORIES. SAX-CCESSORIES works with its suppliers/manufacturers to resolve quality or warranty issues.

If you have any doubts regarding a new saxophone or new mouthpiece, please e-mail us at info@sax-ccessories.com BEFORE entering your order. In most cases, doubts can be cleared up through a back-and-forth discussion. If you let us know more about your current setup and experience as well as what you are looking to achieve with a new saxophone or mouthpiece, there is a good chance we can help guide you through a process that can often times be overwhelming.

Please do not take the approach that you will buy several mouthpieces and just return whatever does not feel perfect. You will be charged the return fee for each and every item returned. If this becomes a trend, your orders will be denied.
